Tom Bradbrook has been told he could return to play for Dartford before the end of the season.

The 27-year-old striker has been out for the last seven weeks after a groin operation.

There were fears Bradbrook would be out for the season but his recovery is, so far, going to plan.

Dartford manager Tony Burman said: "There’s a possibility (he’ll play again in 2014/15).

"He’s seen the consultant and his operation has gone well.

"I’m not going to say it’s definite but it might be that by the end of March, he may have the all-clear to do full training. We’ll see what happens with that.

"It was a better prognosis after the operation than what it was before."
