Dartford take their eight-game losing run to Skrill Premier promotion hopefuls Alfreton on Saturday.

Not since October have the Darts picked up a league point, during which time they’ve conceded 18 goals and scored just three.

And manager Tony Burman is desperate for the run to end in Derbyshire against an enigmatic Alfreton side.

They stunned high-flying Kidderminster 3-1 last week, having lost 5-0 at home to Luton seven days earlier.

Burman said: "I would take anything, just to get something on the board.

"In all fairness, the players have worked hard but we need that little bit of belief.

"After the decent performances we’ve seen in recent weeks, frustration has got the better of the players."

Striker Matty Godden was recalled from his loan by Scunthorpe this week and Burman is still without winger Ryan Hayes (knee) and Jason Prior (ankle).
