Central defender Mat Mitchel-King has signed a new contract at Dartford.

The 30-year-old joined the Darts last summer, having previously played in the Football League with AFC Wimbledon and Crewe Alexandra.

Mitchel-King made 37 appearances in 2013-14 and formed a decent partnership with Rory McAuley during the latter part of the season.

Burman said: "I invited Mat back to pre-season training and he has responded to the tasks set throughout the summer and has come back fit and strong.

"I feel that Mat now knows the way that we do things at the club and his experience will be a valuable asset to the squad; so I am delighted to say that he has signed for us next season."
