Dartford have moved up the Vanarama Conference table - three weeks after the season finished.

Tony Burman's side were relegated after ending the 2014/15 campaign 23rd with 39 points from 46 games.

But the final table will now show them in 22nd position after AFC Telford United, who finished with the same points tally, were docked three for fielding an ineligible player.

Bolton defender Glenn Matthews was the man in question, paperwork for the extension of his loan deal with Telford having not been received by the Football Conference in time.

A statement from the league said: "This information had been missed by club staff, therefore the manager was unaware that Matthews was ineligible to play on Saturday, 11th April.

"The club have not appealed this charge.

"The club have been fined £500 and deducted three points."

Dartford will play in National League South next season alongside Kent rivals Ebbsfleet and Maidstone.
