Darts manager Tony Burman told the club website: "Luke is a player who we have been interested in for a while, he had a number of clubs chasing him but after more conversations and a couple of games with us, Luke has decided to join us.

"He had a number of league clubs chasing him last season and I feel that we have a very talented player who can play on either wing and not only can he provide good service into the box he will also work hard for the team.

"I spoke to Ellis during the summer and asked him to come in and train with us during pre-season. What interested me was his pace in wide areas, I think he has done very well in pre-season and is a good prospect to add to the squad and will give us another dimension with his speed down either flank.

"I am delighted to have both players on board as i feel it will add more pace to the squad and options going forward as well as competition for places. They both have ambitions to player at a higher level and hopefully that can be achieved with us."
