River search for Kent man

Emergency services are still
searching the River Thames today (Thursday) morning for a man
who jumped off the QE11 bridge.
Police and other agencies,
including Gravesend RNLI, searched areas beneath the bridge to try
to find him.
The man, who is his 20s and from
Kent, stopped his car on the bridge at 1am before running and
jumping off.
Police were informed of concern for
his welfare on Tuesday evening. No further details will be released
until his next of kin have been informed of the incident.
