CCTV image issued at time of appeal by British Transport Police
A man has admitted four sex offences on trains in Kent, some committed in front of a child.
Stafan Turansky, 37, from Mayfield Road, Dartford, was charged with two offences of exposure and two offences of sexual activity in the presence of a child.
Turansky was arrested at his home and appeared before magistrates at Medway the following day where he pleaded guilty to all four offences.
He was remanded in custody and will be sentenced at crown court at a later date.
His arrest came after British Transport Police appealed for information about two incidents which took place on trains in north Kent and Medway on Monday, July 29.
They issued CCTV images of a man they wanted to question – that man turned out to be Turansky.
The first incident happened on a Charing Cross to Gillingham service when a man, who boarded at Dartford, exposed and touched himself in front of a 26-year-old woman from Chatham.
In the second incident, a man boarded a train headed for London at Gillingham station and sat close to a woman and her two young children.
He went on to expose himself and perform an indecent act whilst staring at one of the children.
The woman and her children ran from the service at Gravesend station.
