Firefighters save five people from roof of car stuck in flooded ford in Eynsford
Five people - including a child - have been rescued from the roof of a car stuck in a flooded ford in Eynsford.
The group became stranded when their vehicle was submerged in two feet of water last night.
They had climbed onto the roof to safety after getting into difficulties in the village, where the ford often floods in bad weather, at about 7pm.

Firefighters wearing dry suits rescued them before using a winch to pull the vehicle out of the water.
A Kent Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said: "It appears the occupants of the vehicle had climbed on to the roof to safety when the vehicle became stuck.
"Crews donned dry suits to reach four adults and one child, who were led to dry land. Crews then used a winch to pull the vehicle out of the water. No one was injured."
One fire engine and a water safety unit was at the scene until about 7.45pm.
