Elliot Bradbrook returning for Dartford after ankle injury

Dartford's Ryman League Premier Division title tilt is set
for a boost after influential midfielder Elliot Bradbrook returned
to action.
The former Maidstone man has been
out since October with an ankle ligament injury, but made his
long-awaited comeback in a 70-minute in-house practice match on
Saturday, after the Darts’ league game at Hendon was postponed.
Bradbrook was also set to feature
in Wednesday night’s reserve team clash against Chatham,
in which boss Tony Burman was planning to give some playing time to
other first-teamers who have been without a game for three
weeks.
Burman said: “Elliot is starting
his recovery and it will be great to have him back. We haven’t
rushed him, we have let him get on with it.
“Touch wood, it won’t be long
before he’s back in the first team because he’s a big player for
us.”
The Darts had seen three games
postponed due to the wintry weather before Tuesday night’s clash at
Maidstone was called off due to the Stones’ FA Trophy
involvement.
