We need to gel early says Dartford manager Tony Burman as players return for pre-season training

Dartford boss Tony Burman will
introduce his new signings to the squad on Thursday when the
players begin pre-season training.
Burman will also have one or two
trialists in for the first session back as work begins on the
forthcoming Blue Square Bet South season.
One of the main priorities for
Burman will be to get the newcomers to find their feet among those
who remain from the Ryman League, Premier Division promotion
campaign.
Burman said: "It will be good to
get the players in together so that they can get fit and start to
gel ahead of that first league game in August.
"The guys we’ve signed are decent
fellas and I’m sure they will come in and settle quickly.
"Getting the players to gel is
something we make a point of speaking about and it’s essential that
a team get close together.
"That is not just on the park but
off it. It’s one thing we got right last year and we will endeavour
to do the same again this time."
