Tony Burman says Dartford have a massive week ahead of them
Comments |

Dartford boss Tony Burman believes
his side face their biggest week of the season, starting with a
trip to Tooting on Saturday.
The Darts follow that up with a home game against Boreham Wood
on Tuesday, a visit to Horsham on Thursday and are then back at
Princes Park to host Kent rivals Maidstone the following
Saturday.
Burman said: "We’ve got a massive
week coming up with four games in eight days. It’s probably the
most important week of the season for us and we’ve got to get it
right.
"The Tooting game on Saturday is
big and we follow that up with games on Tuesday and Thursday. Four
wins would put us in a strong position."
The Darts bounced back from last
weekend’s shock 4-1 home defeat to strugglers Billericay with a 1-0
win over Maidstone on Tuesday night.
Burman was without defenders Jamie
Coyle and Adam Flanagan against the Stones but both will be in
contention for the weekend.
The Darts boss won’t be gambling on
injuries, though, and is looking ahead to the remaining
fixtures.
He said: "Everyone will be involved
and we can’t take chances on players’ injuries. Flanagan has a
chance for Saturday, but it’s just whether we take that chance.
"The players can’t do four games,
although some might have to, but we’ll try and use the whole
squad.
"We have to look at it over the
week and try to plan for all of the games. We have to decide who to
use in what games and the teams will be different. We’ll need
everyone."
