Kidderminster Harriers 5 Dartford 1

Dartford suffered a fourth successive league defeat on Saturday
as in-form Kidderminster claimed a 5-1 win at the Aggborough
Stadium.
The match was the only game to survive the weekend washout in
Blue Square Bet Premier, although Tony Burman’s side probably
wished it hadn’t as they were leapfrogged in the table by the
hosts.
Kiddersminster made the perfect start after just four
minutes when Chey Dunkley finished off good work by Kyle Storer,
Anthony Malbon and former Gillingham player Josh Gowling.
Jacob Erskine (pictured) headed home Ryan Hayes’ cross from
close range to equalise five minutes later, but that was as good as
it got for the Darts, who trailed 2-1 at the interval after Jamille
Matt’s 32nd-minute effort.
Harriers keeper Danny Lewis was more than a match for Hayes’
driven effort after the break, before Dartford stopper Marcus
Bettinelli was beaten by Matt for a second time with 21
minutes left.
Substitute Mike Williams secured the points in the 76th minute
before Lee Vaughan made it 5-1 in the final minute. The result
dropped the Darts to sixth in the table ahead of the Boxing Day
clash at home to Ebbsfleet.
