Kingstonian 0 Dartford 4

Jacob Erskine

Dartford eased past lower division Kingstonian in the FA Trophy first round.

Four different scorers were on target in the win for Tony Burman’s side, who were facing just 10 men after Simon Huckle’s red card with 30 minutes gone.

By then the Darts were already a goal to the good against the Ryman League Premier Division side, but they had keeper Marcus Bettinelli to thank for saving a penalty after new boy Semi Ajayi had been penalised for a foul on Matt Pattison. Andre McCollin was unable to convert.

The Darts soon settled and with 21 minutes gone Jacob Erskine, pictured, netted the opening goal from Danny Harris’ cross.

Huckle was sent off for a dangerous tackle on Elliot Bradbrook and the Darts wrapped the game up with three second-half goals.

Bradbrook headed home the second on 51 minutes and Harris netted the third after the hour. The win was complete when substitute Nathan Collier netted with 15 minutes left.
