Tony Burman asks fans to help achieve the impossible as Dartford try to overturn 3-0 FA Trophy deficit against Grimsby

Dartford must create FA Trophy history on Saturday if they are
to reach the Wembley final on March 24.
No team has ever overturned a three-goal deficit from the first
leg to win a Trophy semi-final since the competition was first
played 43 years ago. But that is the task facing the Darts, who
lost 3-0 at Grimsby Town last weekend.
Manager Tony Burman, pictured, accepts his side are huge
outsiders but insists mission impossible can be achieved.
He said: "We do get a second bite of the cherry and that’s what
we’ve got to do. The onus is on us now to have a go at
Grimsby."
Burman, who has already seen his side beat six former Football
League clubs at Princes Park this season, called on the Dartford
supporters to raise the roof in order to claim a seventh scalp.
He said: "We need as much support as we can get. Let’s get it
nice and loud, like being the 12th man. We’re going to need help
and hopefully we’ll get that from the guys who come to support
us."
Dartford could welcome back Jacob Erskine after the striker
missed Saturday’s trip north with a knee injury. Lee Burns
(hamstring) will be assessed before Burman makes a
decision on his fitness.
