Charlton Athletic 0 Nottingham Forest 2

Charlton manager Chris Powell described striker Yann
Kermorgant’s sending-off as a “moment of madness” after 10-man
Addicks lost 2-0 at home to Nottingham Forest on Saturday.
Kermorgant, pictured, was dismissed for kicking out at
Forest defender Greg Halford off the ball, eight minutes before
half-time.
And Addicks boss Powell said: “It was just the red mist – a
moment of madness from Yann.
“He does take a lot of knocks and doesn’t always get well
protected but I’m not happy with that because I lose a key player
for three games now. It was hard enough with 11 versus 11.”
In-form Forest made the extra man count on 51 minutes when
Radoslaw Majewski collected a pass from former Charlton player Andy
Reid, beat two defenders and goalkeeper Ben Hamer.
Ex-Arsenal midfielder Henri Lansbury made sure of the points for
the visitors eight minutes later after Hamer fumbled a Simon Cox
shot.
The defeat leaves Charlton 14th in the Championship.
