Woman freed after three vehicle collision on A258 at Ringwould

The A258 Dover to Deal road has re-opened, more than two hours after a three-vehicle smash.

The emergency services were called to the Front Street junction in Ringwould at about 12.30pm to reports that a van and two cars had collided.

Firefighters in two fire engines attended to free a woman who was trapped.

She was taken to William Harvey Hospital with back pain.

Another patient was treated at the scene by South East Coast Ambulance crew.

The road was re-opened just before 3pm, and traffic has eased.
