Deal Town Council is inviting women to an afternoon tea to celebrate International Women’s Day on Sunday, March 8.

The theme this year is Make It Happen to encourage effective action for advancing and recognising women.

Donna Payne - a well-known local solicitor, who founded Cordomus a charity based in Deal, that helps families in crisis both pre or post separation - will speak.

She will give a presentation on her achievements.

It is from 2pm until around 4pm.
