They will face a team of players of different ages and abilities from the club.

As well as the match, there will be a barbecue with profits going to the charity and entertainment inside the club house.

Singer Aaron Richie will take to the stage at 7.45pm followed by five-piece band Perfect 5th, who will perform a two hour set from 9pm. Both acts will be giving their time free to the cause.

To top the night off, there will be a raffle with prizes including two sets of Championship tickets, a signed England ladies T-shirt, signed England under 19s T-shirt which was worn in a match against Australia less than a month ago and two signed cricket bats.

Miss Rubins said: “There’s lots of reasons to come down; the weather is looking good, it’s a great venue and all the family are welcome. We even have award winning company Make Upps doing face paints and glitter art.

“Money will be raised through the food sales and raffle so please give generously.”

The bar is open from 5pm with the match commencing at 6pm.
