Easter events in Deal, Dover and Sandwich this Easter weekend

Whether the sun is shining or not - now is the time to get planning how to spend your Easter break.

Here's just some of the events happening in the district this weekend:

Saturday:

  • Send the kids on an energetic quest in the gardens at Walmer Castle. The events take place on all weekend from 10am.
  • The Five Bells in Eastry is running a beer festival from today to Easter Monday with proceeds going to Kent Air Ambulance. There will be a barbecue and live music.
  • Take the children for to enjoy a piece of nautical historical at the Time Ball tower in Deal, open today from 11am to 4pm. Opening hours for Easter Sunday are noon to 4pm and Easter Monday 11am to 4pm.

Easter Sunday:

  • Join Peterkin the Jester at Dover Castle's Children's festival today and all weekend from Good Friday.

Easter Monday:

  • Check out your clue-solving skills for a chocolate prize at South Foreland Lighthouse this weekend on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Trail sheets cost £3 each.
  • There will be an egg hunt at the Five Bells, Eastry as part of their beer festival and 6th year celebrations.
