Mr Elphicke said: “The Jobs Fair was a massive success. After last year’s jobs fair, I was really keen to organise another event to do my bit to help get jobs for local people.

"I was amazed to see even more people came than last year.

“It’s great that unemployment has fallen since the last election Dover, yet there is still so much more to do.

"The fair gave people the chance to meet businesses face to face and find jobs which are right for them.

“Business told me they received many high quality CVs and I hope that people see these translate into jobs and work for people.”
