Firefighters in Deal attended a car fire in Sandown Road, at 1am last night.

The car is suspected to have been stolen, dumped and torched.

Four firefighters extinguished the blaze within 20 minutes.

Crew manager Paul Evans said: “The car was 100 per cent destroyed by the fire. It had no recognisable features.

“We think it was a Peugeot by the shape of it.

“There was no paint left on it, no interior at all, no emblems or number plates.”
