James Tillitt, one of the organisers involved, said the launch on Bank Holiday, May 5, will see Deal Cards being distributed to residents at the Brocante on Walmer Green.

And the paper cards will be available to pick up in plenty of shops throughout town from then on.

“It’s really quite exciting,” he said.

The scheme is free to both businesses and shoppers to join. The tried and tested model has already been a success in Whitstable and Herne Bay.

Freddie Middleton, Mark Goldfinch and James Tillitt are launching the Deal Card loyalty scheme with Chris West, who set up similar success stories in Whitstable and Herne Bay.
