A woman has been arrested after crashing into a lamppost in Deal early this morning.
Police were called to the crash in Mongeham Road at 7.30am.
Officers arrested the woman on suspicion of driving whilst over the alcohol limit.
The collision happened at the junction with Northbourne Road.
A police spokesman confirmed no other vehicles were involved in the incident.
Highways officers have also been called to the scene because the lamppost has been causing an obstruction.
