Deal Town manager Darren Anslow resigns after his side loses FA Cup replay at Chessington & Hook United

Deal Town manager Darren Anslow has resigned following Tuesday’s 2-1 FA Cup replay loss at Chessington & Hook United.

Anslow was appointed Paul Murray’s successor in late June.

Club chairman Derek Hares said in a statement: “The board of directors of Deal Town FC have today accepted the resignation of 1st team manager Darren Anslow.

“The board would like to thank Darren for all his hard work during his time at the club.

“A new manager will not be appointed at this time while the board re-assess the situation.

“I hope the club’s supporters will get behind the first and reserve teams and give them the support they need.”
