Firefighters tackle blaze in annexe of office building in Snargate Street, Dover

A second floor roof annexe was destroyed in a blaze which struck at an office building in Dover last night.

Fire crews were called just before 7pm last night to the building undergoing renovation in Snargate Street in Dover.

Firefighters used breathing apparatus and two hose reel jets to tackle the fire in the roof space of the three-storey property.

No casualties were reported, and the cause of the fire isn't yet known. It was put out by around 8.20pm.
