Boy hit by car in Astor Avenue, Dover, during afternoon school-run was left unharmed

A boy was hit by a car at Astor College for the Arts yesterday during the afternoon chaos of the school run.

Police confirmed the incident happened at 3.33pm on the school's grounds.

It is understood that the boy was unharmed, but was taken to the William Harvey Hospital in Ashford as a precaution.

One eyewitness said an ambulance was on the scene for around 45 minutes.
