District council wants to hear views on parks in Dover, Aycliffe and Sandwich

The district council wants to hear residents’ views on play areas in Dover, Aycliffe and Sandwich.

Three surveys will focus on Colton Crescent in Dover, The Butts in Sandwich and a new play area for Aycliffe.

The aim is to find out what sort of facilities people would like to see, and people in the Aycliffe area will be asked where their preferred location for a new play area would be.

The summer fete held at Green Park Community Primary School, Dover, on Friday, July 11, from 3pm to 4.30pm, will also supply surveys.

Questionnaires will also be sent to Sandwich Junior School, Sandwich Infant School, The Phoenix Centre in Sandwich, and Whitfield and Aspen School.

They must be submitted by Friday, July 18.

To complete an online survey visit the website at www.dover.gov.uk, or call community engagement officer Una Mills on 01304 872274.
