Death fall of man at Langdon Cliffs, Dover, say Kent Police - RNLI and Coastguards also called

A man has fallen to his death from a cliff, police have confirmed.

Officers had been called out at 1.54pm yesterday to reports that the victim had fallen from Langdon Cliffs in Dover.

Officers attended alongside South East Coast Ambulance Service, the Coastguard service and the RNLI.

A police spokesman said today: "The death is not being treated as suspicious.

"Enquiries to locate the next of kin are ongoing at this time.

"A report will now be prepared for the coroner."

Police and rescue organisations had been seen in the area yesterday and their presence had been reported on social media.

But it was not yet know what exactly had happened to bring them out there.
