Firefighters tackle blaze at three storey house in Sanctuary Close, River.

Firefighters tackled a blaze at a home in River this morning.

Two firefighters from Deal were called to the scene to reports there was smoke billowing out of a three-storey building in Sanctuary Close.

They arrived at 10.59am and used breathing apparatus and a hose reel to put the fire out, which it is believed started in the laundry area of the house.

They also employed a positive pressure ventilation system to get the smoke out of the building.

There was no injuries and firefighters left the scene at 11.46am.
