Grant Moore, charged with assault after altercation at De Burgh Street, Dover

A man has been charged with assault following a flare-up over the Easter weekend.

It happened at De Burgh Street in Dover in the early hours of Saturday.

Kent Police spokesman Amanda Wills said: “Officers attending a report of an altercation arrested a man on suspicion of assault.”

Grant Moore, 19, of no fixed address, was subsequently charged with assault and appeared before Canterbury magistrates on Monday.

He was remanded in custody to appear at Thanet Magistrates’ Court this coming Thursday .
