A Dover lorry driver has been convicted as a child rapist.

Martin Adams denied five accusations of rape, sex abuse and making a

child watch a pornographic movie.

But a jury at Canterbury Crown Court rejected his claims after hearing

evidence from the victim and found him guilty of the sickening

offences.

Now Adams, of Tower Street, Tower Hamlets, has been jailed for 14

years.

Judge Heather Norton told him he had been found guilty after his

victim had given “a clear account” of his vile abuse.

She ordered Adams to sign the Sex Offender’s Register for

life and ordered his computer to be destroyed.

He was also made subject to an indefinite Sex Offences Prevention

Order which means any computer he owns in the future will be subjected

to police checks.
