No comment on rumours that Dorothy Perkins shop will become a Primark

Arcadia, the owner of fashion line Dorothy Perkins, has refused to comment on rumours that Primark will be taking over its Biggin Street lease.

The Mercury received an anonymous tip-off last week, claiming that a letting agent with four people wearing Primark branded lanyards visited on Thursday.

It follows speculation that Dorothy Perkins could be the latest retailer to leave Dover’s High Street.
