A teenage boy had to be taken to hospital this afternoon after reports of a disturbance.

Police were called to Dover Road, Walmer, at around 3.15pm and two teens were arrested.

One of them had to be taken to hospital after the incident.

A police spokesman said they were unable to confirm the ages of the youngsters detained.

A source reported seeing at least three police cars at the scene.

Officers are investigating the disturbance.
