Dover: Woman sexually assaulted by two men in alleyway

A woman in her 20s was allegedly grabbed and sexually assaulted in an alleyway by two men.

Police are now appealing for witnesses after the attack, which reportedly took place in a walkway between Cannon Street and New Street in Dover.

After the assault, the two men, both described as white and speaking English, made off towards the Roman Painted House.

The incident reportedly took place on Thursday, February 23 between 6pm and 6.30pm.

Detective Constable Kirstine Davies said: "We are keen to hear from anyone who was in the area at that time and who may have seen the incident, or events leading up to it.

"It is a busy time of day when many people would have been on their way home from work. We ask them to cast their minds back and if they saw anything suspicious to contact us."
