Dover Athletic have been handed a monster away trip on the first day of the new season.

Whites must go to newly-promoted Barrow on August 8 – a round-trip of more than 700 miles.

Their next two games are at home, against Kidderminster on August 11 and Chester on August 15.

Dover head across Kent to play Conference South champions Bromley on August 29.

They’re up against Welling United twice over the Christmas period, taking on the Wings at Park View Road on Boxing Day before playing the return match at Crabble on January 2.

In between those derbies comes the visit of Bromley on December 28.

The season finishes on April 30 with Dover at home to Forest Green Rovers.
