Dover sign former Aldershot winger Adam Mekki and Luton midfielder Solomon Taiwo ahead of Vanarama Conference clash with Dartford

Dover have signed former Aldershot Town winger Adam Mekki and Luton Town midfielder Solomon Taiwo.

Mekki arrives following his release by Vanarama Conference leaders Barnet last month while Taiwo returns to Crabble on a permanent basis after his contract with the League 2 side was cancelled by mutual consent.

Taiwo,29, played 19 games while on loan at Whites earlier in the season, the last being the 2-2 draw against Torquay on December 2.

Mekki, 23, joined the Bees on a non-contract basis after leaving Aldershot in last summer but found it tough getting a regular start.

He made four starts and seven substitute appearances in all competitions for Martin Allen's side.

During his time with Aldershot, Mekki scored six goals in 95 appearances after making his debut for the Hampshire club against Macclesfield in February 2011.

Both players, who have signed deals until the end of the season, should come into contention for Saturday's Vanarama Conference clash against Dartford at Crabble (3pm).
