Dover Athletic sign former Charlton Athletic and Bromley striker Tobi Sho-Silva on a free transfer

Dover's summer revolution continues after former Bromley striker Tobi Sho-Silva agreed a two-year deal at Crabble.

The 22-year-old frontman came through the youth ranks at Charlton Athletic, from whom he had two loan spells at Welling and a brief stay at Inverness Caledonian Thistle.

After being released by the Addicks he joined Bromley last summer and scored 11 National League goals for the Hayes Lane side despite missing several matches through injury.

Whites have seen almost every player who achieved a second straight top-six finish in the National League last season either released or reject new deals in favour of a move elsewhere.

Ricky Miller has switched to Peterborough while skipper Jamie Grimes has moved to Cheltenham and Ross Lafayette opted to join Sutton, with several other players signing for National League rivals.

Sho-Silva's arrival means Whites now have eight senior players on their books.

Returning keeper Mitch Walker and midfielder Mitch Pinnock are joined in the squad by new arrivals Manny Parry from Braintree, Kane Richards from Chester, Mitch Brundle from Gateshead and Jamie Allen from Southport, while Connor Essam signed up for his fourth spell at Crabble earlier this week.

Sam Magri is the only one of last season's squad whose future remains unresolved, though he is understood to have turned down Dover's initial contract offer.
