Cookalong with Ian Dunkerley

Dunkerley cookalongPeople driving along Deal seafront on Monday afternoon might have wondered why they could see TV cameras filming restaurateur Ian Dunkerley.

Now the renowned chef is soon to become more famous since teaming up with Mercury publishers the KM Group for our internet television Cookalong.

Set to be launched on the Kentonline and Mercury websites on Monday, March 29, the KM Cookalong with Dunkerley’s Restaurant and Hotel features the proprietor rustling up some culinary treats for enthusiastic cooks to try with him in the comfort of their own home.

There will be a new dish to watch and try out every month and Mr Dunkerley has already come up with a mouth watering list, including fish, meat and the occasional pudding.

This week sees him film all 12 dishes in preparation for the launch at the end of this month, starting with skate wings over bacon and cabbage.

A KM Group film crew was out in force on Deal seafront capturing footage of a fishing boat bringing in freshly-caught skate.

To see Ian Dunkerley prepare freshly caught skate wings over bacon and cabbage, visit: www.kentonline.co.uk and the Mercury website www.eastkentmercury.co.uk from Monday, March 29.
