A fan
who attended Dover’s football match against Truro on Saturday was
killed on her way home.
Gillian Alderman, with two other season ticket holders, was
travelling back from the Dover match by car when it was involved in
an accident on the A303 in Wiltshire on Saturday evening.
Described as a loyal and outstanding Truro supporter, Gillian
died at the scene. Her friends Bob Fagan and John Salisbury were
taken to hospital.
Gillian was said to have lived for Truro City and attended every
match, home and away.
A minute’s silence in her memory will be held prior to Truro’s
next home match, against Eastbourne Borough, on Saturday, March
3.
