Deal Town manager Derek Hares hoping his side can clinch Kent Senior Trophy final spot

Mo Takaloo

Deal Town travel to Faversham in the semi-finals of the Umbro Kent Senior Trophy on Saturday and manager Derek Hares will be hoping it's third time lucky.

Town have bowed out in the last four of the Trophy for the past two seasons,  and will have their work cut out against Faversham, who lead the Bulmers Cider Kent League by 10 points.

Hares will be without two of his most experienced players, with striker Roy Godden serving the third game of a three-match suspension, while midfielder Brazier is going to a family wedding.

The good news for Deal is that leading scorer Mo Takaloo (pictured) will return up-front after missing the last two matches because of a calf injury.
