Hayes and Yeading 2 Dover Athletic 4

Dover Striker Ben May

Dover Athletic are up into second place in Blue Square Bet South after winning 4-2 at Hayes & Yeading on Sunday.

Trailing 1-0 at the break to a 30th-minute strike from Tom Cadmore, Whites stunned the home side with a four-goal second-half salvo.

Midfielder Daryl McMahon equalised two minutes after the restart and then, with torrential rain threatening a possible abandonment, leading scorer Ben May (pictured) scored twice in six minutes to take his tally for the season to 14.

A 68th-minute own goal made it 4-1 before the home side scored again 13 minutes from time but Whites then held firm to record their sixth successive victory.
