Dover Athletic 1 Bromley 0

Lloyd Harrington’s superb long-range strike made it six wins in
eight games for Dover Athletic against 10-man Bromley at Crabble on
Tuesday night.
Daryl McMahon returned to the Whites starting XI for the Kent
derby, with Barry Cogan unavailable, but chances were at a premium
at both ends in a quiet first-half.
However the game sprang to life after the turnaround and
19-year-old left-back Harrington (pictured) stole the points
with his first senior goal shortly after the hour, a curling and
dipping long-range effort which beat keeper Joe Welch and found the
corner.
Welch received a red card 11 minutes from time after he flew out
of the box but brought down Moses Ademola, denying a clear
goalscoring opportunity.
The subsequent free-kick came to nothing but Dover held on for
the points and are third, three points clear of fourth-placed
Chelmsford City.
Whites are five points behind second-placed Salisbury City and
11 points adrift of leaders Welling United, with a game in hand on
both.
