Stolen dog Bolly was taken from a family home in Faversham

A family’s Christmas has been ruined after their five-month-old puppy was snatched from the front of their home.

The adorable golden Cocker Spaniel was stolen from outside the Frith Farmhouse in Otterden, just outside of Faversham, yesterday afternoon.

The owners of their cherished Bolly are now offering a £1,000 reward for his return in a desperate bid to have him home for Christmas.

A man was seen pulling up to the front of their home, which is also a luxury bed and breakfast, before grabbing the small dog and dragging him into the car.

The Austins are desperate for the man to bring Bolly back for Christmas.

James Austin said: “Bolly was outside playing in the garden with the neighbours’ dogs. He has done this ever since we got him and there’s never been a problem because someone is always watching him.

“But then a lady next door saw this small, beige van pull up and a man, wearing a brown t-shirt, dragged Bolly into his van. She didn’t see much else as it all happened so quickly.”

The van then reported drove off in the direction of Doddington and is described as having windows on the rear and a similar size to a post van.

Bolly is not micro-chipped but is wearing a dark brown polka dot collar and a silver tag with the Austins’ name and contact details.

The Austins’ other dog Max, a 12-year-old cocker spaniel, is also missing his pal.

James added: “Someone must know something. We are desperate and now doing all we can to get him back. We will start putting posters up today and a Facebook post has had more than 6,000 shares.

“If anyone has any information, please get in touch with us or the police and help us get him back.”
