Kent Police and paramedics called to Citizens Advice Bureau in Faversham

A man was taken to hospital this afternoon after police were called to the Citizen's Advice Bureau in Faversham to a report of concern for the welfare of a man.

Police and paramedics rushed to Stone Street at around 2.20pm where the man, in his 50s, was taken to Kent and Canterbury Hospital.

SECAmb spokesman Richard Airey said: "SECamb was called to the Citizen's Advice Bureau in Stone Street following concerns for the welfare of a man aged in his 50s who required medical attention.

"One ambulance car attended the scene along with police and the man was taken to Kent and Canterbury Hospital."

Police spokesman Glenn Pearson said: "Police were called just after 2.20pm to a report of concern for welfare of a man in Stone Street, Faversham."

The bureau opens from 10am until 2.30pm on Fridays for a drop-in session.
