A rush-hour crash involving a taxi has sparked delays on a busy road through Faversham this morning.

The Vauxhall cab was struck from behind by a Renault Clio shortly before 8am on the A2 London Road.

Pictures of the crash scene reveal damage to the front of the Clio, which was partially blocking the road near the junction with Brogdale Road.

Emergency crews were called to the scene.

It is not known if anyone was injured in the collision.
