A man has been charged with raiding a Faversham pub armed with a gun earlier this year.
Police were called at around 8.10am on June 29 to the Shipwrights Arms in Hollow Shore, Faversham, to reports of a disturbance.
Officers swooped on the creekside pub and arrested a 27-year-old Faversham man.
Daniel Pilcher of Fostall Road was charged with burglary, trespassing on land with a firearm and threatening behaviour.
Landlord of the pub Derek Coles had been enjoying his breakfast with his family when he saw a figure lingering outside.
He said: "Something like this has never happened before so we really didn't know what to do and it was incredibly frightening for my grandchildren."
Mr Pilcher was bailed to attend Maidstone Magistrates Court on September 1.
