A gang who stole from and intimidated staff at a business in Folkestone have been caught on CCTV.

It shows a man distracting staff before another is captured stuffing a tablet computer under his jumper.

The incident took place at around 12.30pm on September 10.

It has prompted anger from the shop's owner, Lewis Holman, who has now posted the video on Facebook and YouTube.

The footage has been shared more than 300 times with more than 14,000 views on Facebook.

Mr Holman says he hopes the footage will prompt someone to tell the police who the men are.

It is thought the men are local and live in Folkestone, with a number of commenters pointing out potential locations.

Mr Holman said: "We need all the support we can get. Lots of the shops are getting things stolen or their windows broken and nothing seems to get done about anything."

A police spokesman said they are investigating and added: " It is reported that three men entered the store and one of them stole a tablet, used by staff.

"Officers are reviewing CCTV footage linked to the incident and inquiries are ongoing."

Yesterday, a shop manager in the town centre chased down and apprehended a suspect who stole a Rolex watch from a jewellers.
