Folkestone: Shop ram-raided in Foord Road

Police are appealing for witnesses after a Folkestone Tesco Express shop was ram-raided in the early hours of this morning.

Officers received reports that a car had been used to force entry to a shop in Foord Road around 6am.

A quantity of cash is reported to have been stolen.

No arrests have yet been made, and officers are conducting inquiries.

Anyone with information is asked to call police on 01843 222289 quoting reference 28-178. Alternatively, call Kent Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
