Anthony Foord of Naseby Avenue charged for burglary

A suspect has been charged in connection with two burglaries, one involving jewellery.

A 39-year-old man is to appear in court charged with the Folkestone burglaries.

Anthony Foord, of Naseby Avenue, was arrested by police and charged on Tuesday May 8.

The charges relate to a burglary at a property in Audley Road on Monday 7 May, and a burglary at a property in Sunningdale Avenue on Saturday 5 May in which jewellery and items were reported stolen during both incidents.

Mr Foord appeared via virtual link at Medway Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday 9 May and was remanded in custody.

He will next appear at Canterbury Crown Court on a date to be confirmed.
