A man in his 80s has been found dead on a Kent beach.
Officers and paramedics rushed to the scene opposite Princes Parade, Hythe just before 7am, to reports a body had been found.
The man is believed to be from the local area and his next of kin has been informed.
The death is not being treated as suspicious and a report will be prepared for the coroner.
It comes after reports of emergency services and a blue forensic tent being spotted on the beach this morning.
It is the second major incident on the Kent coast this morning, after emergency services were called to Walpole Bay.
